Mr. Ron Van Beek, President and CEO of Van Beek Natural Science LLC has been involved in the science of animal nutrition for over 35 years. In 1982 Ron Van Beek bought an entity known as Fandsco Enterprises, Inc. in Orange City, Iowa. Fandsco was a wholesaler of mineral and vitamin premixes for livestock use. In 1984, Van Beek decided to incorporate herbal extracts and micronized vitamins imported from Europe. In 1991, he started Van Beek Scientific, selling all-natural products to livestock producers in both American and European markets. In 1997, Ron started Van Beek Nutrition in Twin Falls, Idaho.  This company is a state-of-the art mineral mixing facility serving the dairy and beef industries.

In 1999, Van Beek Global was established to bring a line of natural alternative products to the companion animal market. This line of all-natural products contains a patented compound with superior phytobiotic properties. They are sold through distributors and veterinarians primarily in the U.S. but also throughout the world. In 2002, Thermocal Mines of Idaho began with the partnership between Ron Van Beek and Harold Wilson.  TMI is a provider of high-grade calcium derived from warm water deposits.  This calcium is used by VBS and VBN for feed supplements and premixes.

In 2007 VanBeek Scientific and Van Beek Global merged to form Van Beek Natural Science. The Van Beek Natural Science brand will be the identifying mark for the combined company on livestock and companion animal products. Van Beek Natural Science operates in Orange City, Iowa and continues to serve the livestock and companion animal health care markets with all-natural products. The business continues to expand as the trend for all-natural health care alternatives grows.
