   "I recently began using the Royal Solution to combat a beta-hemolytic e-coli in my nursery pigs. In a group of 200 pigs 90% would scour with the worst pigs completely backing off feed and having clear runny manure. I would also incur about a 4% death loss in the nursery due to this scour. The scour would start around 6 days post weaning and last for approximately 2 weeks.
   My vet has posted many pigs and had always come back with a new drug to combat this problem. Unfortunately, the new drug would only be effective for 1-3 months before the bacteria would mutate and render the new drug useless. I had begun to think the problem hopeless until my VBS representative Troy Wirtz mentioned that VBS might have some products that would help. Upon hearing that the product was herbal based, I was very skeptical but, as nothing else had worked, I agreed to give it a try.
   The results were excellent. At present we have the scouring rate down to 10% after five months of use, and the pigs that do scour do not scour as severely. My death loss has dropped to around 1% in the nursery, and my overall weight coming out of the nursery is approximately 5 lbs. heavier.
   I am also using the Royal Gel Tubes with Iron in my farrowing house. I find that I tend to have less scouring but more importantly, my pigs tend to be much more even than before. I just do not have the tail enders like I used to.
   I was spending approximately $1.60 per pig on medications and shots to try and treat these problems. On the Royal program I am now spending approximately $1.17 per pig."

   "I recently began using the Royal Swine product for strep in my farrow to finish operation. I was very skeptical at first but my veterinarian, Jim Illg, and I had tried just about everything else so we figured we had nothing to lose.
   In my operation, we were experiencing considerable death loss due to strep in my nursery. The death loss varied but it always seemed to be the worst after a few days of hot weather. We were also experiencing some death loss in the farrowing crates due to e-coli and the pigs in general were very inconsistent in performance.
   We started off on a three-pronged attack to deal with these problems. First, we put Royal Powder 75 in our sows late gestation and lactation feed to try and clean them up so as not to pass pathogenic organisms along to piglets. Second, we began giving the Royal Gel Tube with Iron on day 2 to the piglets so as to clean them up and have them healthy for when we moved them into the nursery. Third, we began pulsing in the Royal Solution for pigs into the water when the pigs were moved into the nursery, and then periodically after that.
   The results were impressive! Our death loss in the nursery has dropped considerably. In our last three groups that were moved through during the summer we had no death to strep that we could see. The groups seem to eat better and performance has been much better. In the farrowing house our death loss also decreased and our piglets seemed to be much more aggressive and lively.
   In our last group of nursery pigs we had a bout of pneumonia go through. Usually the group goes down pretty hard and feed intake drops drastically. This group however, did not get near as sick as I am used to and they still continued to eat, although at a reduced rate. I do feel that the Royal products did help to maintain the health status of my pigs during that episode.
   I am happy with the Royal products in my herd, and I would recommend them to anybody."
